To empower students with the skills, confidence, and experience needed to excel in research, STEM fields, and beyond. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and academic enrichment, we prepare the next generation of innovators, researchers, and problem-solvers.

EcoTek is a dynamic collaboration with the Office of TRIO Programs that provides high school students with hands-on experience in research, data analysis, and environmental sustainability. Our goal is to equip students with critical academic and professional skills by engaging them in real-world projects that promote scientific inquiry and innovation.

Mentors are dedicated professionals and student leaders at the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus who guide high school students at Robichaud High School and Chandler Park High School through research and technical skill development.
